Shaun “Shreda” Shepard

Born in San Diego, California and raised in Hawaii. At a young age, his natural athleticism led him to excel in soccer and later in men’s body boarding. He advanced in body boarding so quickly that an “original” local from Waikiki Walls who observed his progress gave him the name “Shreda.”

Shaun leads the team with over a decade of experience in mixed martial arts. He’s fought in various promotions in Hawaii before setting out to San Diego in 2012, where he trained at Blue Ocean Muay Thai under Kru Alexander Palma. Shortly after, Kru Alex promoted Shaun to an instructor role for exceeding all requirements through the Black Tiger USA, Kaewsamrit Gym Thailand and Mejiro Gym Amsterdam Netherlands lineage. He specializes in developing begginers to competitive world class athlethes. Shaun is passionate about helping students reach their full potential and knows how to cultivate natural talent within kids and adults alike.

Daniel has been training Muay Thai for over a decade under Kru Adrian.  He has competed in Muay Thai competitions and exhibitions and has been part of fight camps, for both amateur and professional fighters.  In 2013, Daniel started to participate in military endurance events and obstacle course races with some lasting over 24 hours. During this time, he began to be a strength and conditioning coach. In 2018, when his oldest daughter showed an interest in martial arts, he started to shift his focus back to Muay Thai. Daniel met Shaun in 2019 and started to help coach the youth program in 2020.  Now with a growing family of 7, he passes on what was taught to him to both youth and adults.
